drchrono started with a ‘mobile first strategy’ [1] and now seems to be leading the pack with API access. If I were setting up my own practice, I would be looking veeeerrry closely at drchrono for my EMR [2].

Arguably, if you’re making a digital product, you should always begin by designing for mobile devices first. Not only do most EMR companies not adopt a mobile first strategy, most don’t have any sort of mobile strategy. drchrono has really been a leader here. ↩
