Doctors Test Bacterial Smear After Cesarean Sections To Bolster Babies' Microbiomes | NPR

More microbiome research today. This is something that seems like a no-brainer and why should it even require a study. However, weird things happen in medicine so I'm glad they are examining this practice through a controlled study.

This report doesn't seem to indicate it, but it would be interesting to examine both the mother's and baby's microbiomes throughout the process.
